com This 1964 1/2 Ford Mustang Convertible Is a really nice and solid that came from the factory with a 260 V-8.
This is an older restoration that was professionally done in 1991 and driven sparingly in the summer months.
The restoration has held up great and this was originally a Texas car so it was a solid car to start with.
It was a total restoration and the car was restored to be factory correct as it was sold when new.
It has around 20,000 miles on it since it was restored and it was driven only on nice summer days.
The body on this Mustang is really nice, clean, and straight.
When restored it was repainted in its original color of Skylight Blue (Y Paint Code).
The paint still looks great but it does have minor stone chips and wear and tear from driving it over the years.
All of the chrome and stainless is in excellent condition and inside the trunk looks like new.
The metal appears to be original quarters, fenders, doors, and floorboards that are all still solid.
This is a very solid car and the underside is clean and looks nice.
The power top is also still in great shape and so is the plastic rear window.
You can tell this car was always cared for.
The interior is excellent and was completely restored as well.
This includes the seats, carpet, door panels, top, dash, dash bezel, etc.
The steering wheel, radio, and heater controls are all original.
The headlights, taillights, brake lights, and trun signals are all working.
The gauges all work.
The power top works.
The horn, heater, and original radio all work.
Mechanically this car is excellent and it runs and drives wonderful!! The engine is the 4.
3L 260 V8 which is the only V-8 they offered in this year.
It was totally rebuilt when the car was restored and it has around 20,000 miles on it.
It runs strong and smooth.
Everything under the hood looks stock.
It has the 3 Speed Manual transmission with a good clutch that shifts nice.
The rear axle is the Ford 98 Inch with 3.
00 gears.
This is all sitting on factory wheels with wire hubcaps and nearly new tires.
3 years ago the last owner completely redid the suspension which included new springs, new shocks, and new upper and lower control arms.
This car drives wonderful!! We drive what we sell so that we can give you a first hand and accurate report on how the vehicle runs and drives.
Our pictures are never touched up or photoshopped.
What you see is an accurate representation of the vehicle.
We take consistent pictures and show you everything so you can get a true representation of the vehicle.
