Summary
We are looking for a Quality Leader to support our fast paced manufacturing environment in Holland, MI. This is a direct hire opportunity with a global automotive supplier that takes quality to a new level.
We are looking for someone that will plan, organize and implement quality systems in line with quantity, quality, time, schedule and cost targets. They will ensure customer quality concerns and guideline requests are fulfilled and will implement continuous improvement initiatives for quality processes which are under the responsibility of the plant.
o Determine if the process systems are effective
o Specifies and monitors measures to improve the process system controls
o Reports on the efficiency of the process system
o Lead, support and motivate staff
o Acts as a liaison with customers regards to concerns
o Supports and maintains worldwide quality standards
o Establish quality strategies and ensure deployment
o Responsible for defining program quality and enforcing the quality basics
Requirements
o Masters preferred; Bachelors in Engineering
o 7
years of quality/manufacturing/automotive experience
o Six Sigma Certified preferred-TPS
o Experience with warranty and production, program and Supplier Quality
o APQP, TS 16949, PFMEA, supplier development, control plans
o Experience implementing quality systemsEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
