Summary: Plans and conducts activities concerned with the quality assurance of industrial processes, materials, and products by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Maintains and works to continually improve the quality management system and company policy/procedures through planning, development, monitoring of processes, analysis of data and implementation of corrections and improvements to the quality management system.
Utilizes common industry standard tools for root cause analysis, corrective / preventive action, and recurrence prevention as it applies to our products and processes
Applies common statistical tools including, capability studies (CP/CPK), histograms, control charts, PPM, Pareto, Trend analysis and other tools to analyze process performance
Prepares reports for use by the quality management system, manufacturing and management
Interfaces with Manufacturing and Engineering to ensure successful launch of new product/processes (APQP)
Developments and administers training programs for associates throughout the organization while ensuring comprehension and competence has been validated for those trained.
Supports the quality team through direction, interpretation of prints and standards, assistance with GD&T, defect and statistical analysis - performing assist activities when required
Prepares accurate and complete PPAP packages in accordance with internal and customer specific requirements.
Conducts and leads internal auditing activities for our products, processes, and systems with report out of findings, follow up of corrective actions, and verification of effectiveness for closure
Develops audit plans for receiving, final audit, and safe launch activities
Creates procedures, instructions and forms used by the quality management system
Recommends and implements improvements to the quality management system.
Communicates with Customers and Suppliers including timely response to concerns, product development and monitoring of customer satisfaction (PPM, disturbances . . .).
Monitors Supplier performance and audits suppliers to domestic, international standards, internal and customer specific requirements.
Assists with the development of process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA), control plans and work instructions
Applies knowledge in Lean, 52, Kaizen and other industry standard tools for continual improvement of our products and processes
Prepares SPC programs for use in manufacturing operations

Qualifications:
Previous experience with automotive industry is preferred.
Must be able to read and accurately interpret prints and requirements in a screw machine environment
Education and/or
Experience:
Associate's degree (A. A.) from a two year college, trade school; and 5-7 years of experience

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
