These positions will require inspection and preventative maintenance on company vehicles and heavy equipment, including: electrical systems, hydraulics, mechanical components, brakes, suspension, body & frame repair, as well as all corresponding records and reports. The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and knowledge: - Five or more years related diesel mechanic experience, and knowledge of the methods, materials, tools and techniques used in vehicle and equipment repair and maintenance - Skilled in welding and torching - Mathematical and mechanical aptitude - Strong communication skills - Ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment - Attention to detail and strong critical thinking skills - Certification in all of the following preferred: Heavy truck repair, brakes, air systems, air conditioning, electrical, and hydraulics Additional requirements include: - High School Diploma or GED - Clean driving record with valid chauffeur''s license (or ability to obtain one) - Ability to pass a drug screen, physical and criminal background check - Ability to work 10 hours per day, 5 days per week These positions will be DIRECTLY HIRED in to PADNOS with NO temporary/contract period through Manpower.
