The responsibilities for this position are broad in nature and include employee relations, recruiting, performance management, employee development, training facilitation, wellness programming, and back up to payroll and benefits.
Flexible, dependable and available to support 24/7 manufacturing environment.
Primary recruiter for exempt and nonexempt positions. Oversees recruiting activities for exempt and non-exempt office and professional staff; to include recruiting, screening, interviewing, talent selection, reference checking, and job offers.
Participates in job fairs and college recruiting career fairs.
Review and modify job descriptions as needed for accuracy. Performs job assessments and creates job descriptions as required.
Performs all primary production staffing functions, working with on-site staffing agency to bring in qualified talent.
Act as the primary point of contact for hourly personnel, answer questions, employee relations, and work with team leaders to resolve issues and concerns.
Participates in disciplinary actions up to and including separations, performance management, and conflict resolution situations. Works with team leaders to provide advice, ensure consistency of policy implementation and documentation, and monitor practices to ensure compliance with the law.
Manage employee attendance.
Manages performance appraisal process; conducting training, providing feedback and assistance to managers/team leaders, track progress, and follow up as required.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Bachelors degree in business related field with demonstrated understanding of human resource laws; or equivalent experience.
3+ Years Exempt Level Human Resources Experience
Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Excellent recruiting strategies.
Excellent communication, both verbal and written.
Must be comfortable giving presentations, including developing materials.
Preferred Qualifications:
Publisher is preferred.
Previous experience with PeopleSoft HRIS is preferred.
PHR or SPHR Certification preferred

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
