Summary:
Management Business Solutions (MBS) is seeking a contract Product Design Engineer for a client in Holland, MI. This individual will develop designs for new products and revise designs for existing products.
Responsibilities:
Investigate and analyze competitive products
Analyze designs for proper form, fit, and function including basic manufacturability, assembly, disassembly, and use, using design software, to ensure design and documentation of new and existing products meet established quality and performance standards
Research materials, common or generic parts, and engineering standards for designs, using catalogs, reference books, or other product drawings to provide complex ideas or requirements as presented by engineer, needs statement, or project team
Utilize ProEngineer (ProE) for sheet metal design, complex surfacing features, creating high quality technical drawings and working in PDMLink
Documents new and/or revised designs
Qualifications:
Associates degree in engineering design or related field required; bachelors degree preferred
4 years of product design experience utilizing ProEngineer (ProE) required
