6 Holland, MI Holland, MI Full-time Full-time $17 - $18 an hour $17 - $18 an hour Creative Dining Services is seeking a Full Time Housekeeping Inspector for the Haworth Hotel on the campus of Hope College, in Holland, Michigan.
Formerly the Haworth Inn and Conference Center, the 48-room boutique property has undergone a complete renovation and is now open to the public.
The Haworth Hotel is at the heart of Holland's historic downtown district and Hope College's lively campus, welcoming people worldwide for conferences, vacation stays, meetings and more.
The Housekeeping Inspector ensures and achieves the cleanliness goals and quality standards of the guest rooms and public areas of the hotel.
As Housekeeping Inspector, you will help in multiple areas of the hotel.
The main duty of this position is ensuring guest rooms are cleaned quickly according to hotel standards and procedures.
Must be available on rotating weekends Essential Functions/Responsibilities Ensuring rooms are cleaned in a timely manner to upkeep guest satisfaction Provides inspection results and notifies cleaning personnel of inadequacies Follows instructions from the Housekeeping Supervisor Support to the housekeeper's staff Performs other duties as assigned by management Physical Demands/Work Environment The Support Services position involves working in a hotel/conference center environment.
Must be able to perform physical work of operating laundry and floor cleaning equipment.
Must be able to lift 25lb.
Education - Skills - Expectations High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred but not required Previous experience in a housekeeping or inspection preferred but not required Ability to perform the physical duties required of the job
