As a Patient Care Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring a positive patient experience from the moment they schedule an appointment to their check-out.
Responsibilities:
Schedule appointments, considering patient preferences and dentist availability Manage the dental office calendar and ensure smooth patient flow throughout the day Answer phone calls, greet patients, and answer questions in a courteous and professional manner Process patient insurance information, eligibility, and claims Collect patient co-pays and payments Oversee and manage patient dental records Ensure treatment plans and referrals are communicated effectively to patients Send appointment reminders and confirmations Handle patient billing and address any concerns Maintain a clean and organized reception area Perform other administrative duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Minimum 1 year of experience in a dental office or healthcare setting Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multi-task Ability to learn and adapt to new dental software Friendly, positive, and professional demeanor A passion for patient care and dentistry is a plus
