The Material Handler/Hi-lo position will use bills-of-material to pull bunks of wood as well as parts from inventory for our wood department.
Conduct cycle counts of parts in-stock to maintain inventory accuracy.
Organize aisles and storage racks.
Perform data entry of part storage locations and inventory transactions into computer systems.
Perform all job duties in accordance with safe work practices.
We currently have a position open for a Material Handler on Night Shift (Monday through Thursday 4:
30pm - 6:
00am).
There is also an opportunity for overtime during the summer busy season on Fridays.
Essential Functions:
Demonstrates clear communication, both verbal and written, with peers and managers.
Self-motivated needing minimal supervision and has a good attendance record.
Physically able to perform rigorous daily activities and heavy lifting as needed.
Able to perform visual quality inspections.
Is organized, does accurate work, and is attentive to details.
Computer literate.
Able to assist seasonal/summer help with assigned work.

Licenses or Certifications Required:
One of the following is required:
(1) High school diploma or its equivalent (GED for example), (2) work experience which demonstrates performance competency Forklift license or the ability to obtain a forklift license (required) Skills and Abilities:
Ability to use required measuring tools such as calipers, gauges, tape measure, etc.
Ability to work cooperatively within the team as well as with members of other teams as needed.
Demonstrate willingness to adapt to a continually changing environment.
Flexibility to work varied hours as business needs require.
Competent in basic math skills such as counting, adding, and subtracting.
