3K a year The Landscape Architect will support senior designers on projects of varying scope and detail.
Projects will range from master-planned communities and mixed-use developments to high-end residential design recreational facilities.
Landscape Architects will be tasked with developing plans that achieve the goals and objectives of our clients while meeting regulatory requirements and client budgets.
S/he will be encouraged to further their design, graphic skills, and abilities while meeting the standards that make our Nederveld projects recognizable.
Essential Functions Complete various plans from concept to final construction drawings Clearly present plans for clients, agencies, and municipalities for approval Organize daily activities to meet schedule and budget deadlines Manage multiple tasks and projects Essential Skills for Performing the Job Strong digital graphic and presentation skills and hand graphic ability is an advantage.
Relationship building and communication skills Strong work ethic Detail-oriented Required Education and Experience Bachelor of Landscape Architecture 3-5 years (or more) of Landscape Architecture experience Experience working with AutoCAD, Adobe Suites, and SketchUp Other Requirements Licensed Landscape Architect (or actively working toward licensure) Position Type/Expected Hours This is a full-time, in-office position.
S/he must be available during the standard work hours of 8:
00 AM to 5:
00 PM.
Physical Demands This position is a combination of sedentary work, with some field and travel-related work.
An employee is regularly required to stand, sit, walk, reach, type, talk, hear, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb, push, pull, carry, and lift.
An employee may also be required to drive, traverse wooded and/or uneven terrain, enter structures, use ladders, walk on roofs, enter small spaces, and work in various weather conditions.
Travel Local travel to/from project sites, municipal and agency offices, and other Nederveld offices may be required.
