5K a year The Plant Human Resources Manager will coordinate and direct the strategic support and administrative functions of a manufacturing location.
Managing the local HR team, they will coordinate strategic planning with executive management, oversee full-cycle recruiting, and serve as a link between the organization's management and its employees Position Responsibility Implement both the global and regional HR strategy, adapting as necessary according to local needs.
Implements both the global and regional programs and policies, adapting as necessary according to local needs and challenges Anticipates recruitment needs in advance in order to ensure adequate staffing in terms of quantity and quality; manages local staffing needs (permanent and temporary) Ensures fair and competitive compensation according to internal policies and regulations as well as labor law and council/union agreements; optimizes personnel costs considering aspects such as productivity, profitability and job satisfaction Ensures the continuous development of employees by identifying needs and developing concepts and organizing respective trainings Advises on organizational structures and changes and supports reorganizations Ensures accurate and timely KPI reporting.
Derives and initiates permanent corrections in case of deviations and monitors the implementation and effectiveness Acts as first contact and negotiation partner for the local union, if applicable Ensures professional support of supervisors and employees concerning employee/employer relations issues Advises Management Team concerning employment law and human resource topics Participates and/or leads global/regional projects/ initiatives Establishes and maintains an effective, efficient and motivated HR workforce, organization and processes Position Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, advanced degree preferred 10
years of experience in Human Resources 3
years experience in a Union environment Human Resources experience in a manufacturing environment required Working knowledge of US labor laws and employment laws (ADA, FLSA, FMLA) Experience with HRIS software (ADP, SAP) Job Type:
