The restaurant is a Christian-missioned social enterprise, culinary-learning environment through Gateway Mission.

Warmly greets all guests entering and exiting, providing a positive first impression.
Communicates with our guests in a friendly manner.
Handles guest queries about the dining facility.
Learns and understands the meal period menus in order to answer guest questions.
Understands and communicates dining room policies appropriately.
Follows the proper procedure when encountering a disgruntled guest and knows when to involve a supervisor or manager.
Operates registers, other devices and credit card machines accurately.
Follows all cash handling procedures.
Understands all available tenders.
Counts back change correctly.
Ensures accurate accounting of all transactions, collections and disbursements during work shift.
Reconciles cash box.
Assists in cleaning of dining operations as needed.
Assists in stocking as needed.
Performs other duties as required.
The successful candidate will have:
High School graduate or equivalent preferred Basic reading and math skills Must be able to communicate and understand primary language(s) use by guests who typically visit the work location.
Bilingual ability preferred.
Knowledge and ability to operate cash register and equipment related to various payment forms Customer service experience preferred Apply now or visit us at our on-site job fair on August 1 from 10 AM - 2 PM where you can enjoy a barista-made coffee drink, snacks, and prizes!
