The Role Summary The Production Planner/Scheduler is responsible to schedule customer orders efficiently in our ERP system.
In This Role, You Will Scheduling customer orders taking into consideration customer request, material, and resource availability.
Initiate changes as needed to customer orders which may include, move outs, line cancellations, order cancellations and move ups.
Report any instances where schedules cannot be met and root cause prior to jobs becoming a late shipment.
Process customer order changes and cancellations as required by following appropriate process.
Understand and work to resolve material and resource constraints by working with appropriate departments.
Review and approve change notices adding proper planner code detail as required.
Provide backup support as needed.
Participate in daily production meetings.
What You Bring to the Team High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of one year experience in scheduling/planning preferred.
Strong attention to detail, with high level of accuracy for data processing.
Strong computer knowledge relating to ERP systems, Microsoft Office.
Ability to prioritize and organize.
Ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner.
Strong problem-solving abilities and willingness to interact with other departments individually or as a team member.
Ability to understand, read, write, and communicate clearly and proficiently in the English language.
Must be willing to adhere to all company policies and guidelines.
