, a family owned business for over 80 years and the West Michigan leader in Vending, Micro Market, and Coffee services is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to join our leadership team and to take ownership of the critical Human Resources role.
Essential
Responsibilities:
Recruitment and Hiring:
Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies, job posting, screening, interviewing, and selection processes to attract and hire qualified candidates.
Onboarding and Orientation:
Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including conducting orientation sessions, coordinating paperwork, and ensuring a smooth transition into the organization.
Employee Relations:
Act as a point of contact for employees, addressing their queries, concerns, and providing guidance on HR policies, procedures, and employment laws.
Performance Management:
Support performance appraisal processes, assist in goal-setting, provide feedback to employees and managers, and collaborate on performance improvement plans.
Training and Development:
Identify training needs, design and deliver training programs, workshops, and initiatives to enhance employee skills, knowledge, and professional growth.
Compensation and
Benefits:
Administer compensation and benefits programs, conduct salary benchmarking, ensure compliance with applicable laws, and address employee inquiries related to compensation and benefits.
HR Policies and Procedures:
Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies, procedures, and guidelines, ensuring compliance with employment laws and promoting a positive work environment.
Employee Engagement:
Foster a positive work culture by organizing employee engagement activities, promoting team-building initiatives, and facilitating communication channels within the organization.
HR Data Management:
Maintain accurate employee records, generate HR reports and metrics.
Compliance and Legal:
Stay updated on employment laws and regulations, ensure compliance with labor laws, and provide guidance on legal matters to protect the organization's interests.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business or Human Resources 3
years of experience in Human Resources Strong interpersonal and communications skills Job Type:
