Lead Tech.
/Plant Supervisor Division:
De Weerdt Eggs
Summary:
To aid in the production of maximum quality product while ensuring personal safety, food safety and efficiency of labor, plant supplies.
Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
1.
Adhere to company policies for the protection, use, maintenance and disposition of company assets, fixtures, machinery and equipment.
2.
Perforrn preventive and predictive maintenance to egg division facilities and equipment.
3.
Diagnose problems and repair machinery as needed.
Outsource special projects when necessary.
4.
Order and stock appropriate replacement parts.
5.
Must be available on call on desonated time periods.
6.
Work closely with Plant Supervision, sanitation team, QA technician to continuously improve processes.
7.
Coordinate activities of maintenance technician(s) with daily work orders.
8.
Cooperate with all persorurel, policies and programs in such a way as to always enhance the image of DeWeerdt Poultry Farm.
9.
Use ou.
n good judgment and abilities to support the best interests of the company in all situations.
10.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
11.
Work with and source outside vendors on special projects.
12.
Be strong in creating PM.
Plans for all parts of the process.
Qualifi cations/Requirements Must be proficient with E-mail and Microsoft Office software.
Must have excellent written and verbal cornmunication skills in English.
Must be able to lift 60 pounds.
Have a stro g customer service aptitude with creative problem solving atrilities- Ifuve a high energy level and the talent to motivate others.
Exhibit personal integrity.
Education /Trainin g/Experience High school diploma or GED Must have or be able to complete appropriate training and continuing education classes within specifi ed timeframe.
