At The Stow Company, the Maintenance Team is a key part of our dynamic and growing team! Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Maintenance Mechanic/Machine Repair will help to maintain production equipment and facilities to enable teams to safely manufacture high quality products in an efficient, timely, and complete manner.
Essential Functions and
Responsibilities:
Perform preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment Complete a variety of projects as assigned Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, electronic, and PLC issues Utilize basic machining tools, powered hand tools, and other maintenance-related equipment Read machine drawings and control schematics Apply electrical, electronic, and PLC experience Adhere to all safety requirements Participate in problem-solving initiatives, Kaizen events, and lean manufacturing activities Other duties as assigned BASIC
Qualifications:

Experience:
Machine journeyman's card, or 8 years documented experience in machine repair position
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Demonstrate excellent listening and communication skills Exhibit strong attention to detail Solid analytical skills Able to work quickly and efficiently Able to work both independently and as part of a team Must have an excellent attendance record Must have reliable transportation to and from work Actively participates in all team meetings and events Valid Drivers License PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Able to ascend and descend ladders, stairs, scaffolding, etc.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
