Essential Duties and Responsibilities Production Management Manage the production of products Meet production schedules Master lean manufacturing principles and apply them to production processes Manage, perform and direct 5S housekeeping duties of the team Manage safe working conditions of the team Production reporting Accountable to hit productivity, scrap, 5S goals Personnel Management Training of co-workers Assist in the hiring and discipline of team members Review the performance of team members Develop and improve team member's abilities Conduct daily team meetings Promote a team orientated environment Participate in cross training Perform scrap / WIP ticket reporting Perform quality approval / sign offs Prepare work cell quality documents Assist with work cell layout improvements using lean principles Provide input on process, tooling and product improvements Perform light equipment repair and maintenance Promote and participate in Continuous Improvement Program Consistently work in a safe manner Maintain professional behavior and attitude Other duties as assigned Requirements:

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Ability to read, write and communicate in an effective manner required.
Physical Demands:
Continuous lifting of up to 20 lbs.
